No experience is required. Most of our members start as complete beginners—we’ll guide you step-by-step from day one.

Just comfortable workout clothes (t-shirt and shorts/track pants). If you have a gi, bring it—but it’s not required for your first class.

Not at all. We train students of all ages, including adults starting in their 30s, 40s, and 50s.

Yes. Safety is our top priority. Classes are structured, supervised, and focused on controlled training—not fighting.

If you have a current or past injury, we recommend checking with a medical professional before starting any training. Once you’re cleared, our coaches can work with you to modify movements and adjust your training so you can progress safely. Many of our members train successfully while managing minor or ongoing injuries—we’ll help you train smart and at your own pace.

You can start with our 2 free trial classes which are beginner-friendly. It’s the best way to experience the classes before committing.

We offer programs for children as young as 4 years old. While we generally recommend starting around ages 5 or 6, it ultimately depends on your child’s ability to follow instructions and their physical readiness. The best way to determine if they’re ready is to try a class or two and see how they respond.

Yes. Kids learn awareness, confidence, and how to handle situations appropriately—not aggression.

Yes, parents are welcome to watch and support their children during training.

No. Our classes are designed to help you get in shape, not require it beforehand.

These classes are designed to be comfortable, supportive, and focused on your goals—whether fitness, self-defense, or skill-building.

Unlike most gyms, our women’s program is led by an expert female instructor who is a trained Black Belt in BJJ, with extensive experience in Krav Maga and Kick Boxing.

Yes—we offer a beginner trial so you can experience a couple classes before committing.

No. We do not make you sign a contract.

We do offer discounts if you prepay your membership for 6 or 12 months.

Yes, we offer pause options for vacations, injuries, or life events. You may submit your Membership Pause Request HERE.

Membership cancellations must be submitted electronically or in person at least seven days before your next billing date; late requests require a $25 cancellation fee, and cancellations sent by text, voicemail, app comment, or other methods will not be accepted. Most beginners start with 2–3 classes per week for the best results.

Progress depends on consistency, but you’ll start noticing improvements within weeks.

Yes. Promotions are based on attendance, effort, and skill development.

Unlike many clubs, we do not charge for stripes or belt promotions.  We stand by our no hidden fee policy.
