Biography
After nearly a decade away from the mats, Nick rediscovered Judo in
his forties and has been loving every minute of his return.
Fortunately, even after all those years, he never forgot how to
breakfall.
Nick firmly believes that anyone can begin Judo at any age. He is
passionate about creating a welcoming and approachable environment
where new students can build confidence, improve their fitness, and
enjoy learning at their own pace.
Away from the dojo, Nick is also a 3-Dan player in the ancient
strategy game of Go. Like Judo, Go rewards patience, awareness,
timing, and balance.
Coaching Philosophy
“You are never too old to start Judo.”
Nick encourages students of every age and experience level to step
onto the mats, learn safely, and enjoy the lifelong benefits of
Judo.
