Women’s-Only Kickboxing Classes in Newmarket
athletes who want to improve their technique, conditioning, and overall athletic ability.
Non-Contact Kickboxing Training
Our Women’s-Only Kickboxing program is non-contact.
Participants work with a partner while practising punches, kicks, combinations, movement, and defensive skills using focus mitts, kick shields, and training pads.
Students do not punch or kick one another. This allows participants to develop realistic striking technique, speed, power, timing, and coordination in a controlled and encouraging environment.
Partner-based pad training also helps improve communication, teamwork, reaction time, and confidence while keeping classes active and engaging.
What You Will Learn
Our structured kickboxing classes introduce students to the fundamentals of
effective striking and movement, including:
- Proper stance, balance, and footwork
- Jabs, crosses, hooks, and uppercuts
- Front kicks, round kicks, and other fundamental kicking techniques
- Punch-and-kick combinations
- Defensive movement, blocking, and distance management
- Pad holding and safe partner training
- Speed, timing, coordination, and reaction drills
- Strength and cardiovascular conditioning
Students learn how to generate power safely and efficiently while maintaining proper balance, posture, and control.
Beginner-Friendly Kickboxing for Women
Starting a new fitness or martial arts program can feel intimidating. Our
beginner-friendly Women’s Kickboxing classes are designed to help every participant feel comfortable from the moment they enter the academy.
Techniques are taught step by step, with coaches providing clear demonstrations, individual guidance, and modifications when needed. Students can work at their own pace while gradually improving their fitness, confidence, and technical ability.
You do not need to be in shape before starting. Kickboxing is an effective and enjoyable way to improve your fitness over time.
Improve Fitness, Strength, and Confidence
Women’s Kickboxing provides a dynamic full-body workout that combines
cardiovascular conditioning, strength, coordination, mobility, and technical skill development.
Regular training can help participants improve:
- Cardiovascular fitness and endurance
- Functional strength and muscular conditioning
- Balance, coordination, and agility
- Core stability and body control
- Speed, power, and reaction time
- Confidence and self-esteem
- Focus, discipline, and mental resilience
- Stress relief and overall well-being
Each class combines skill development with active pad work, helping students
stay motivated while improving both physical fitness and striking technique.
Practical Striking and Self-Defence Skills
Kickboxing teaches valuable striking fundamentals that can support personal
safety and self-defence awareness. Students learn how to maintain distance,
move effectively, protect themselves, and deliver controlled punches and
kicks with proper technique.
While no martial art can guarantee safety in every situation, kickboxing can help students develop greater confidence, awareness, fitness, and composure under pressure.
A Supportive Women’s Fitness Community
Our Women’s-Only Kickboxing program is about more than exercise. It creates
an environment where women and girls can train together, encourage one another, and work toward their individual goals.
Participants of all fitness levels and backgrounds are welcome. Whether your goal is to become more active, improve your conditioning, learn practical striking, reduce stress, or try something new, our coaches will help you feel supported and challenged.
