True North Martial Arts is proud to welcome Professor Rico to our coaching team as the lead instructor for our Adult Lunchtime Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program.
With an incredible 36+ years of martial arts experience, Professor Rico has dedicated his life to training, competition, teaching, and the pursuit of technical excellence. His background gives students the opportunity to learn from a coach who has spent decades developing his craft both on the mats and in competition.
Professor Rico brings a calm, detail-oriented, and highly practical approach to instruction. His classes are designed to help students build strong fundamentals, sharpen their technique, improve confidence, and develop the kind of mat awareness that comes from years of real experience.
