Try Two Martial Arts Classes—Free
Curious about martial arts but not sure where to begin? Experience True North Martial Arts with two free trial classes and discover which program is right for you or your child.
Our free trial gives new students the opportunity to meet our coaches, explore our Newmarket martial arts facility, and experience the supportive atmosphere of a real class before choosing a membership.
True North Martial Arts offers:
- Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
- Judo
- Wrestling
- Kickboxing
- Kids and youth martial arts
- Adult beginner classes
- Women’s-only programs
- Competition training
No Experience Required
You do not need to be athletic, flexible, or already familiar with martial arts. Our experienced coaches will help you get started safely, introduce you to the fundamentals, and make sure you feel comfortable throughout your first classes.
Whether your goal is to improve your fitness, build confidence, learn practical self-defence, compete, or find a positive activity for your child, there is a place for you at True North Martial Arts.

Why Do We Offer Two Trial Classes?
One class is not always enough to understand what martial arts training is really like. Your first class allows you to become familiar with the facility, coaches, and class structure. Your second class gives you another opportunity to participate, ask questions, and decide whether the program is the right fit.

Train at a Facility Built for Martial Arts
Our academy features approximately 2,000 square feet of professional two-inch tatami mats installed over a foam-cushioned subfloor. Students train in a bright, clean, welcoming facility with experienced and competition-proven coaches.
